Jazib Hasan is the Head of Energy Asset Finance Solutions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he is responsible for capital solutions in the upstream, midstream, downstream and power businesses. Prior to BAML, Jazib was responsible for structured transactions at Shell Energy Trading. Before which he spent 10 years at Deutsche Bank, in New York and Houston, where he built and ran an infrastructure and energy principal finance business.
Jazib was also a trader at hedge fund LongTerm Capital Management (London and Greenwich), where he ran an equity and equity derivatives trading book. He started his career at Credit Suisse in New York and San Francisco.
Jazib has an MBA (Honors) from The Wharton School, and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and B.A. in Economics (Honors) from Stanford University.
